Shipping and Handling Policy

All in-stock items will be shipped once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained. If an item you ordered is temporarily unavailable, they will immediately advise you when to expect delivery.

Deliveries within the Continental United States

• Standard: Flat rate of $8.95 per address. Estimated arrival within 4-8 business days after the shipping & handling date.
• Premium: Flat rate of $12.95 per address. Estimated arrival within 3-6 business days after the shipping & handling date.
• Express: Flat rate of $18.95 each per address. Estimated arrival within 2-3 business days after the shipping & handling date.

Alaska & Hawaii: Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii addresses can expect standard delivery within 4-8 business days after the shipping & handling date.

APO/FPO addresses: Orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses can expect standard delivery within 9-12 business days after the shipping & handling date. Express and Expedited delivery are not available for APO/FPO addresses.

Shipping & Handling Costs 

Shipping & handling costs are based on averages and may exceed actual shipping costs. An order may be shipped in a lower or higher tier to meet delivery expectations, but in no event at an additional charge to you.

Fragrance Delivery 

Delivery is only within the continental U.S., except for APO/FPO addresses. Express delivery is not available for fragrance items.

Sales Tax Information 

Sales tax will be collected based on the order's "ship to" address where required by law. Sales tax will also be applied to shipping and handling charges where required by law. The sales tax displayed at checkout is estimated, and the final applicable tax will be calculated when your order is shipped. All applicable taxes will be clearly displayed on your final invoice.

Store Orders 

A $2.50 per item handling fee will be charged on markdown/final sale merchandise if they order an item for you from another store (or from their Distribution Center) that is not available in a store you are shopping in or if you choose to ship markdown/final sale merchandise to an address from their store.

International Deliveries 

As the recipient of an international package, you could be subject to fees associated with the processing and payment of duties and taxes. Applicable duties and taxes will be paid for by the package recipient.

Canada Deliveries

• Standard: Flat rate of $25 per address. Estimated arrival within 3-6 business days after the shipping & handling date.
• Express: Flat rate of $35 per address. Estimated arrival within 2 business days after the shipping & handling date.

International Deliveries

• Standard: Cost varies. Estimated arrival within 5-7 business days after the shipping & handling date.
• Express: Cost varies. Estimated arrival within 2-4 business days after the shipping & handling date.

Shipping to Australia is currently not available.

Refund Policy

If you're unhappy with your purchase from Talbots or Haven Well Within, you can return or exchange unused or defective items with a receipt within 60 days. Final sale items cannot be returned.

Where to Return Items:

• Talbots Retail stores & Distribution Center accept returns from their stores, online, or phone orders.
• Talbots Outlet stores accept returns from their outlets.

Refund Process:

Returns within 60 days will be refunded to the original payment method, unless you prefer merchandise credit. If the original payment was a gift card or the item was a gift, you'll receive merchandise credit. Cash or check payments may be refunded by corporate check within 7-10 business days, or as merchandise credit if preferred.

Merchandise Credits:

Merchandise credits never expire and can be checked in-store or online. They can't be used to buy gift cards.

Returns without Receipt:

Returns without a receipt within 60 days may receive merchandise credit for the current selling price, with valid ID.

Gift Cards:

Talbots and Haven Well Within Gift Cards are for merchandise only and can't be used to buy other gift cards. They can be used in-store, online, or by phone.

Easy Returns and Exchanges:

Follow their return policy for hassle-free returns and exchanges.

Return Procedures:

• Online Portal: Use the return portal for online or phone orders. A $8.95 fee applies for pre-paid UPS labels.
• Return by Mail: Ship returns to TALBOTS RETURNS with the Return Form or receipt. Refunds may take up to two billing cycles.
• International Returns: International customers must follow local customs instructions for returning items.
